It is awesome to see how much is happening at Mead's Corner. I am very excited about the arena opening and the sales we've seen so far, but I am mostly excited about the customer relationship that has been cultivated. Our customers are truly family and it is amazing the quality of connection that we are able to make over coffee and soup.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions Dan, and thanks to Todd for such a great blog, you rock man!

We are all about living the Jesus way, Todd. Thanks for your reflections. You have pointed right to our dna. MG

Try another European style cap when you drop by next time, and tell them you want it very dry. They'll work hard to get it just like you like it.

I had lunch at Mead's Corner on Monday and found it not too crowded just after 12:30 p.m. The service was fast and friendly, and the turkey panini sandwich I ordered was pretty good. Too bad they didn't served fresh-brewed iced tea for lunch.

I'm with Todd, thinking the layout is a little unorganized. The middle of the space appears to be mostly a hallway between the front and the back of the shop, and but for a couple of comfy leather chairs, it lacks definition. But the decorating is tasteful throughout, and has a comfortable feel to it.

Since I work downtown, I look forward to returning for an early morning cup of coffee and a pastry. I'm also thinking this might be a nice place to finish an evening, for those of us who don't stay out late enough to close down the clubs in old town.

A good experience, and a worthy cause. I'll be back.
