If the goal of church is to make good friends and have great memories and have someone there to take care of their needs then I can understand the idea. If it is to reach into a world that is dark and hurting, well, that really won’t be about great memories though they will come or good friends even though they will be there. I am always surprised when people who have been blessed believe that is proof that no one has been hurt. Thank God for those who have experienced the love of God through his church.
