I think you're right that they haven't done a good job reaching out too young people (I seem to be in the odd one percent of young consultants who are on her side), but I'm not sure there was ever very much she could do about it. Most young people don't have serious political opinions, so the candidate who gives off that impression would seem to be the logical destination for them.
