I’ve been blocked by SmartFilter at Harding University for “pornography.” Now, I wouldn’t mind being blocked at HU for “instrumental worship support” or “men’s and women’s equality,” but “pornography?” Come on!
Let’s use our brains SmartFilter.
If you happen to attend HU and read this blog through Facebook or an RSS reader or at the Oil (what do the cool kids call Midnight Oil now, I wonder?), please click the link to have my site unblocked.

(h/t: Jack Shock, Brooklynne and ME)
UPDATE: I’ve received an email saying that my site has be recategorized as Personal and Blogs/Wiki. Can any HU students and/or faculty confirm this?

Maybe their filter is set up by what sin the person running the blog has committed before. Maybe you’re blocked because maybe you have seen “pornography” at some point in your life & are therefore a sinner worthy of scorn & reproach.
I’m sure it won’t be long before I am judged, ohp!, I mean “blocked” under the category of “didn’t allow us to spoon feed theology” or possibly “not necissarily Republican.”
ha ha im sorry thats funny! why do they have you blocked for porn? i wonder what its picking up?
sam, funny.
you know this is all so rediculous. i wonder if they ever caught on to the fact that they block MTV and not BET on campus cable?
im tellin you. there’s a force field around that place. people laugh…but im tellin ya…its more than just a bubble.
i love HU.
Ouch…hopefully you will be allowed through the firewall soon.
YES! I KNEW there was a reason I liked this blog.
you’re so cool…I wish harding blocked my blog…
I got home from Harding as quickly as I could today to see what the fuss was all about at the Todd Blog.
Other than the image of an old lady being electrocuted there’s not that much to see here.
That’s just not my thing. Sorry.
Harding once blocked my blog. Apparently religious moderation is a worse sin than atheistic Trotskyite ravings. Well done.
It’s called “MO’s” these days. And HU switched filters not too long ago and the new one does seem to be kind of hyper. Crazy.
We called it Mo’s when we were there too. Sorry, just had to feel like Im still cool real quick.
The University of Tennessee doesn’t have a filter. And I feel so dirty right now.
Congrats. I can see your blog again.
It’s probably because the picture of the girl with the camera on your home page. I think she is not in dress code.
